FAQs

Is STEM or coding experience necessary?

Absolutely not! Every training is “zero-to-one”, meaning we do not expect any prior experience with coding or STEM. We’ll coach you or your staff on everything you need to know to teach any of our STEM topics.

Is the training cost one time or recurring?

The cost is one time and includes: four hours of training, a full semester curriculum, and an optional four weeks of implementation. No hidden costs or recurring fees.

What is the minimum number of trainees per cohort? Maximum?

We ask for a minimum of 8 seats purchased for each training session to proceed. You can have less than eight trainees as long as at least 8 seats are purchased. There is no maximum at the moment, as we will break up the training sessions above a certain number.

Is it a single 4-hour training session or can it be broken up?

Typically, the in-person is conducted as a 4-hour workshop (with a break) and the virtual is two days, 2 hours each day. If needed, we can discuss a custom schedule that works for you and your staff.

Do you offer tech support?

Yes, outside of our optional four weeks of implementation support, we offer another 6 months of 24/7 email tech support with any questions relating to the topic that your staff was trained in.

Are materials included in the training?

We ask for your organization to purchase the necessary materials for the trainees, which will be eventually be used with their students. We do provide purchase links for the lowest cost and highest quality materials that you’ll need.

How much curriculum is provided after training?

On average, each topic comes with 16 hours of comprehensive project-based curriculum, which includes daily lesson plans, helpful videos, and slides that can be projected in the classroom.
